Our world is at the beginning of a revolution. With all revolutions there is a war, and we are all confronted with having to pick a side. The war is both tactical and spiritual, and it requires strategic planning from both realms. It forces us to begin having difficult conversations - first with ourselves, and then with others. This is where I come in.
I have traveled around the world facilitating diversity and inclusion courses centered around helping people discover and confront their implicit biases. I have facilitated training in both corporate and church/religious environments. My work in freedom ministry helps trace root thoughts, feelings and triggers based on both external and internal influences. In essence, I help people trace what they have come to know as truth or facts, and help to broaden perspectives that have developed biases throughout the course of life. In addition, my courses bring awareness to the use words and how to shape them intentionally from the foundation of empathy and working to find a commonality with others. There is more in what unites us than in the differences that divide us.
We know that these are sensitive conversations, and in the present climate of our country and our world, it has become imperative that both corporations and faith-based organizations invest time into ensuring that they confront these topics head on. I am Certified in Community Psychology, and I understand that communities need to feel a sense of belonging in a space where unity is the goal. We provide a fun, interactive and informative approach to these sensitive conversations. What makes my work unique is that I facilitate these conversations with love, unity and understanding as the ultimate goal. This work is not just what I do, but is a vital part of who I am.
Our world is crying for help, and it is time we do our part and work together toward healing our land.
